"We had a fabulous two days at Finca La Anita. Pablo and Ana were fabulous hosts and we truly enjoyed learning from their knowledge of all things Costa Rican, especially the history and quality of chocolate and coffee. We stayed in cabin 8 which was comfortably rustic with a refrigerator. We found the temperature in mid Feb to be approx 10 degrees C cooler than the coast. "We stayed 2 nights in the amazing dome room ! It is spacious and well furnished and has everything you need ! The view is brearhtaking with beautiful sunset in the evening ! Big property that offers some acitivities (zipline, horse riding and small hike) ; you will be welcomed by the owner that will do everything to make your stay even better. Place is quite isolated, so they propose dîner and breakfast that really worth it and quite cheap for quality !"

The wildlife that we saw each day at breakfast was stunning but breakfast itself was somewhat disappointing. We understand their bid to be very eco but only emptying bins in the rooms every 48 hours did not seem very hygienic. "

"A beautiful place run by a very nice, hospitable family. I think I was the only one there! Nice, clean and comfortable room, with a great shower. No AC, but the mornings and evenings let in a cool breeze, and the fan was sufficient. Great breakfast included in the morning. Would highly recommend. "

"The owner has built a wonderful walking trail on property up a hillside. The patio and dining area area in a serene setting. I especially likes relaxing out on the hammock listening to the bullfrogs. Breakfast is fantastic with eggs made to order and a delish fresh fruit juice. Internet is not the best in the rooms, but that is probably from the thick doors. "
