Malekus Mountain Lodge is magical
The hosts, Roger and Rosaria were so friendly and welcoming. The lodge is beautiful and has a fantastic pool. The entire lodge is peaceful and a great place to relax.

This was the most amazing place. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Roger and Rosie were outstanding hosts. The breakfast was scrumptious. Everything about it was fresh. The hiking trail is among the best you will encounter. We will be back!

An exceptional property run by an incredibly kind and attentive couple named Roger and Rosy. The grounds are lovely, the product of the hostsā€™ efforts to plant thousands of trees and plants across the sprawling property. The facilities are very comfortable and spacious, everything was kept very clean and Rosyā€™s breakfasts are delicious and abundant. Itā€™s a great base for exploring nearby sites and parks like Tenorio and Rincon de la Vieja. Would love to visit again and spend more than just a few nights there. Thereā€™s so much so see in Guanacaste and Malekus is a great home away from home to explore this fascinating region.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at Malekus Mountain Lodge. The place is beautiful, peaceful and immaculate. We enjoyed the large swimming pool. The area is great for hiking (they even have their own panoramic hiking trails on the huge property) and most importantly, the owners, Roger and Rosie are just wonderful hosts who made us feel more like friends than guests and provided us with great recommendations about points of interest in the area. Not to forget, the breakfast was fantastic, too. It included a buffet (fruits, cereal, yogurt, bread, sweets, coffee, tea, freshly made juice, and more) AND we got served a plate with eggs, and other items that varied (empanada, casado, potatoes, avocado). There are plenty food options (sodas) nearby for lunch and dinner.

A beautiful quiet property away from the crowds. Amazing breakfast, a wonderful restaurant just 600m away. There are trails through this property that wander through beautiful vegetation.

Des hĆ“tes incroyables des plus gentils que jā€™aie rencontrĆ©s! Tout dans le logement Ć©tait parfait. La chambre trĆØs confortable (Wow les oreillers!!). Prachtige rancho tussen de vulkanen
We hebben genoten! De wandelpaden zijn mooi. We keken prachtig uit op de vulkanen en het meer van Nicaragua. De tuin zit vol kikkers, het ontbijt was gevarieerd en heerlijk. De familie super vriendelijk. Wij gaan nog eens langs :)
