"The hotel and people are very nice, but it does require a refresh. Elevator areas, stairwells, and rooms show signs of wear and tear and not well upkeep as far as cleanliness. The pool area and bartenders at the swim bar, along with the incredible panoramic view of Tamarindo Beach, make it a great spot to stop in and stay a couple of days. Tell the Bartenders Hola from DJ Mark! Pura Vida!"

"From USA. Enjoyed stay here. Staff was awesome especially bartender Daniel. Breakfast was included and very practical. Room was clean. A few insects here and there but thats to be expected. Quiet and safe feel. Open mic at bar on Wednesday was fun!"

"Unbelievable view over the ocean and surrounding hills. The property was very clean. The on-site restaurant was great for any meals, snacks or drinks. We had one of the swim-up rooms, and it had everything we needed. The bathroom had obviously been renovated and updated and was very nice. My only recommendation for the hotel would be adding a safe in the room and bedside tables/lamps. "This is a one of a kind hotel, that is landscaped and attended to in an impeccable fashion. The food choices and quality were amazing—numerous GF etc options that were clearly labelled. Truly one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at and I highly recommend it. Only minor gripes are that there are add on costs for a # of the yoga classes. Also it is a VERY hilly property so be prepared."

"It's a quaint property and has a great feel to it. It kind of grows on you. Don't go with an expectation that it's a 3 star hotel (as Google Shows) and you will enjoy. The restaurant at the hotel serves amazing food. The breakfast was incredible but expensive. But so is food everywhere around in the area. The beach is beautiful and secluded. It's a woman owned business and the owner is lovely. We enjoyed our time and would stay again if we go back to Costa Rica."
