"Nice place but tricky to find. In a poor area by canal but just a 10 minute walk to Chester centre along towpath. Parking is expensive at £12 per day. It is a converted old mill and covers both sides of the canal with an internal walkway. Can be a bit confusing finding your way around and also beware of low beams and lots of stairs. Free Spa was good and breakfast also. Main meals are quite dear."

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were given free coffee and biscuits while the lady checked that our room was ready,which it was. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and lovely. There was full English, cereals, fruits and seeds,yoghurts, croissants and pastries and various breads. Jams,honey and Nutella were available for the toast. It's a very quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely stay here again. Just across the canal was a great...
