"Absolutely LOVE this place. Home-away-from-home when I'm in the Asheville area. Downtown is a super easy walk from here, tons of dining options of all kinds, and parking is safe and easy. The hotel itself is an older property, but very clean, comfortable beds and run by great, hospitable people. Can't recommend enough!"

"The only thing that kept me from putting all five stars was the day we left and went to get our car from the valet they said our keys were at the front desk and they seemed confused. Apparently the water I had charged to the room the night before was not deducted yet but they made it sound like we had an outstanding balance which was embarrassing, especially for one drink! That being said everything else was great and the location was perfect! "

Room was clean and comfortable but there seemed to be air in the plumbing lines that made a lot of noise, onetime in the middle of the night. "We loved the motorcycle parking, the free laundry room and the bar/restaurant onsite. There's also an outdoor hangout area behind the lodge along a creek. Peaceful property and it had all we needed on a bike trip. Our room had a living room, kitchenette and a bedroom - and the AC was so cold! It has a rustic look, nothing fancy, but clean and very convenient and affordable. "
