"We had a wonderful stay at Elk Haven! The cabin was new and beautiful! It had a beautiful wrap around porch with tockers that I would have enjoyed more if it wasn’t so windy and cold ghe days we were there. Truly easy access with plenty of space to park - not the tiny spaces at other lications. It was very convenient to Cataloochee ski resort, and my niece loved seeing the elk! Bruce continually stayed in touch with us and the complimentary water and snacks were perfect since I didn’t have time...

"This place is gorgeous!! We stayed at another cabin nearby before we came here. You can tell they put more thought and effort in making the place nice. The property is located on the side of a mountain with a view of a river and the highway, so nice!! This was a very welcoming and clean cabin!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you sooo much Chuck and Sandy!!"

The beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking items. the check-in process and check-out process was simple. Lovely towns of Sylva and Dillsboro were perfect - got nails down and hiked and played games. A Great place for us - thank you for your hospitality. "

"Spent the weekend with family. The cabin has everything you need for a cozy weekend. And if you are looking for adventure it is a short ride to DuPont Forest for great hiking and Brevard for great restaurants and shopping. Host very helpful even delivered wood in the snowy slush. "

"We stayed here the weekend before Christmas 2024, and it was perfect. The cabin is near a few other properties, but far enough away to where you don’t hear or see other people. The cabin was also decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well-stocked for a rental property. It was nice and cold during our stay so we really enjoyed the hot tub.
