"Property is wonderful, and it turned out I did not have issues going down the mountain during a major storm. Luckily, the neighbors within walking distance gave me information. Dryer is broken, which I wish I knew beforehand. Not the end of the world. Downstairs TV was on, but didn't work. Upstairs had only one channel that worked, making it hard to follow what was happening outside. The neighbors offered to let us use their dryer, which was nice. My only big frustration was that the area had a ton of rain and an impending tropical storm that devasted most of Western NC. Our governor was recommending Shelter in Place or Evacuate. I called and texted Vacasa, as I was concerned about the flooding that had already started, and I was worried whether it was too late to leave. I asked for one or two more nights, but they insisted that renters were coming, and they do not allow cancellations for extreme weather, I then asked/begged to see if owners or cleaning company or anyone could call and help me determine the safety on the local roads, but Vacasa refused. I left a day early and arrived home safely. Again, overall a great experience, but I was surprised that even with an emergency, the owners were unwilling to contact me. "

"We love the cottage. Very private with so much nice property to explore. Beautiful views and easy access to the Pigeon river. The grandchildren loved the bunk bed room. We saw a note regarding the garage door opener in the laundry room. Did not need it, but could not find a garage door opener anywhere. We look forward to oue next visit."

"We came up to climb looking glass and stayed and the place had everything we needes, peace tranquility, cleanliness and the hot tub was an added benefit after a tough day of climbing, we will book it again when we come back up."

"This is a beautiful cabin inside and outside. The mountain just hugs it. Just wonderful. So peaceful. You hear the birds and squirrels. The leaves were just starting to turn. "

"This house was exactly what we needed- quick access to the falls/sliding rock, and the fun breweries in brevard. The best part was the creek out back that we played in. The house was great. Couldn’t find the AC unit for upstairs, only a box fan, so it was extremely hot upstairs. But the kids and dog loved it. I’m glad I read about the neighbors so I wasn’t surprised by how close they were. Was not a problem as we were gone most of the day anyway. Thank you!"

"We(2 of us) had a wonderful time. The creek is right at your door and we did dip our toes in. The 2nd floor bedroom is wonderful with a fantastic view from the balcony. The cabin is small but has all the amenities and we found it very comfortable. We loved it! "

"Definitely a spot I will be coming again. Very quiet and serene. Was very nice to sit on the deck and listen to the creek while working on the computer. And then the hot tub at night with the creek was nice. Only complaint is that the hot tub seemed out dated. The hot tub felt like warm "

"My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. This cabin was amazing outside and inside. We saw turkeys and deer that came up feet from the door. The cabin had all we needed to cook and accommodate our stay. More than enough room for my wife and I but we hope to bring back our family of 6 to stay in the future. Our only regret is the we couldn't stay longer."

"Wonderful location close to Asheville and also close in the beautiful mountains and near some amazing hiking trails. The house had everything we could possibly need and way more - it was better equipped than my own home! The hosts were also extremely friendly and accommodating. I’d come back here in a heartbeat! We were 2 families, both with a 6 year old and a 3 yr old each. The house was perfect for all of us."
