"The hotel is inconspicuous on a dreary day but has double doors from the bar to the street so would be lovely on a summers day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a lovely modern shower and the vista was straight out to the Bay (which was sadly freak and dreary). One lady (Margaret) was amazing. She checked me in and made sure I was happy with everything. Then after I went to my room I went to the bar and was being served pints by Margaret...

"Had a night here as a solo traveller and this place is fine for that. The room was clean and comfortable but not sure it would be for a longer stay. The rooms maintain the period features of this historic building so you have to accept the creaky floorboards etc. The staff were very friendly and the service was ok, I didn’t have the breakfast but a friend of mine who did said it wasn’t worth it.
