"We were very pleasantly surprised that this hotel sits on the top of its very own nature park. We saw more wildlife here than in the parks! I regret I didn't bring a telephoto lens. Monkeys played every morning while the tucans sang their unique songs. It maintains an intimate tree-top like atmosphere with only a limited amount of rooms at the top. The open-air architecture has you feeling like you are in an upscale treehouse, with the dining bar on the edge of a large precipice looking out to the ocean. The staff were exceptionally friendly. One even went out on his day off to procure our son a birthday cake!"

"Excellent hotel with great pool and beautiful garden. Need to drive 10 minutes to beach at Manuel Antonio and not really walkable. Good restaurants close to hotel and easy access to National Park."

The location in relation to the beach, national park, taxi access, and local shops is better than any other of the hotels around Espadilla beach. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the staff's hospitality. The room cleaning service was more meticulous than literally any hotel I have stayed at (regardless of star rating). The room was spotless and fully cleaned every single day. The front staff was also great at accommodating quality excursions around the area. When our boat trip canceled last minute, they found us a better boat trip option for the same day at a better price, all in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend Hotel Manuel Antonio."

"Basic hotel but bed was comfy and shower hot. Small kitchen area in room for snacks. Easy walk to Manuel Antonio - maybe 1km Best thing is beach access. A nice pool on the property and walk out the gate to the beach which is very clean and nice. Small restaurant for breakfast and lunch. One morning there were monkeys and one even took my pancake when I was done eating! Staff was very accommodating and helped me arrange cruise Perfect base for Manuel Antonio"
