"We appreciated our Stay at Colibrí. The room and surrounding areas were kept very clean. The pool is beautiful and there is a poolside bar that is open in the afternoon. Breakfasts are available for an additional cost. Owners and staff were very nice. One thing to note is that check in is by 8 p.m. or you need to make prior arrangements for staff to stay later. "The staff are all wonderful people. They made us feel right at home. The ambience was amazing, we saw and heard a ton of wildlife. The howler monkeys sure do know how to make an entrance. The gazebo by the water was tranquil and I recharged after spending time in the hammock. The food was delicious as breakfast comes with the stay. I totally recommend this place for anyone wanting to be close to things yet feel like you are far away."

No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. "The property consists of approximately 10 individually designed villas. So, I can only comment on our villa. Almost new, could do with wardrobes or at least more shelving. Access road is 6km along a very uneven dirt track, steep in parts. Managed with a smallish 4x2 SUV, but you would def be better off with a 4x4. Beautiful views, birds and the sunsets were gorgeous."
