"Its an older motel but recently remodeled. We enjoyed out stay The only thing wrong was only coffee in the room was decaf."

"The staff were very polite. The process online as well as the check-in procedure in person was easy. I called beforehand to make sure late check-in (15-30 mins) was not an issue as my significant other & I were traveling afar. The gentleman was courteous & stated it was fine. The receptionist at the front desk was very thorough. Our time there was peaceful, thank you & everyone who made our short trip relaxing."

"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "

"Overall this is a great place and very convenient for going to Shenandoah. The only aspect where I thought things were lacking was the cleaning, as there was a bag of trash left hanging from the door and there was no shampoo. I didn’t discover the missing shampoo until it was too late to do anything about it, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to wash my hair."

"Lovely couple running this motel. Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us great suggestions on where to look for dining possibilities, and we enjoyed a Peruvian meal. Comfortable and clean. No special channels on TV, but we were in the area for a sad family occasion, so no big deal. Hostess gave me a bucket of ice which kept cold in the refrigerator. My only suggestion for improvement would be to buy some real glass glasses. I'm always appalled by single use plastic and did not enjoy unwrapping...

"Very large suite in lower level of older building. Separate entrance off of back parking lot. Two reserved parking spaces right near back door made it very convenient. Did I mention how large the suite is? Nicely renovated, very large modern bathroom. Painted concrete floor with throw rugs, so bring slippers. Great location at the end of Davis Street so we could easily walk out and enjoy the nice stores, fun restaurants. Next to the historic visitor center and museum."
