"A very unique property that is a mix of a VRBO and a smaller boutique hotel. It is part of a special event venue with two buildings surrounded by gorgeous grounds. There were 9 rooms oriented around a common great room with a full kitchen, huge dining table, fireplaces, couches and to my grandchildren’s delight, several arcade games, foosball table and air hockey! "Dee was great! She's a top-notch, Paris-trained chef and she made the most wonderful breakfasts for us. And on the day we left, we had to leave before breakfast was normally served, so she made us a "to-go" breakfast before we left that was delicious! "Booked 2 rooms at this hotel for 3 nights and when we arrived, it was closed down!!! No phone call or email or any notice whatsoever. Prepaid over $500 and have nothing to show for it. We had to book rooms down the street which more than doubled the cost of our trip. I can’t get a response from the hotel and hotels.com is supposed to be ‘looking into it’ but we’re a month past and still nothing! This is simply shameful!"
