Great location, we were there for a basketball game. Front counter and valet people were great! A lady from the restaurant was very, very rude to my wife and my son because they left the free breakfast coupons in the room. She tried to make it look like the were trying to get free breakfast, in front of everyone in the restaurant. Very unprofessional, very rude. This single event ruined our stay there, and the Residence Inn is just in the other side of the street.....

I was disappointed that it took almost an hour to get into my room after my initial check-in. I was also disappointed that when I reserved the room, the cost for a night was $169, but when I checked in, the room cost $699.00 for the night. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but really not worth $699 for a night. I can't complain, though, because the hotel is within a quick walk to the venue where I attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony.

There were two issues with my stay and I will never stay there again because of it. First I was told there was room service when there was not and the website even showed it. The second issue was huge, their fire alarm had a glitch and it alarmed all night long. And I mean all night long. That night should have been compensated for but I was told since it was an Expedia booking there was no way they could help me. Instead I was given a breakfast voucher non-edible breakfast. Pros- very nice staff, easy check in and check out, very quiet. Beautiful decor, clean room, everything worked. Cons-parking...we used valet for almost $100 for two days because there were no other options. We thought we could park on the street until we saw a car being towed. And you can't park overnight in the garage across the street. Hats off to the valet staff. One man was taking care of parking and retrieving the cars and was very busy. He did a great job. Cons- the food. We got breakfast for three people, very basic food that was not good, undercooked eggs, nothing superior, and we paid $60. Apparently the coffee was $5 per cup and was not good. Maybe lower the prices or improve the food. Cons- no microwave in the room and the AC was loud. In general, I am glad we stayed there so our son could walk to the Fieldhouse, and the staff at the hotel was wonderful! Just a few things listed above could improve a stay.
