"The check in was really simple and straight forward with instructions given prior to the visit. Upon arrival we were all really pleaaed to find the rooms as cosy and as comfy as they looked in rhe pictures. It was a great placw to stay in the centre of Nailsworrh and use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. "

"This is such a wonderful gem in the lovely village of Painswick! The room is spacious and welcoming, so comfortable after a day of traveling! The owner is engaging and provides a perfect stay for travelers. Convenient dining options in the village within a 5 minute walk was an extra bonus. "Stayed for two nights in October and we had a great time. The property was in a quiet and secluded location with a lovely garden. We stayed in the Sleigh room which was spacious and overseeing the green pasture. Everything was immaculate. The attention to details such as bathrobes and hot water bottle was outstanding. Vida the host was attentive, friendly and helpful. We also liked the fact that the nearest pub was only 10 mins walk away. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly."

"Food was really gorgeous. We had breakfast, dinner and cream tea there. All excellent. Room was very comfortable but small. Hotel garden lovely. Drinks great. Service was haphazard: often had to go inside to seek or give a food order, or request cutlery once food had come etc, as hard to flag someone down once we’d been seated/served. Some staff were welcoming, some were brusk. Hotel in beautiful town and was a lovely place. Overall, would go again. "
