"The staff was great. Rooms are very basic but sufficient. The hotel is located close to the downtown area. The neighborhood is safe but looks dumpy and is noisy. Ear plugs help. There are lots of homeless. Overall, this hotel is a good value. There is a lot of food options. Again, the neighborhood will look scary but its actually very safe."

"The hotel is quite centrally located. However, this makes it extremely noisy. The sound of traffic is deafening at night even with windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, think again. The property looks lovely when you come in, the area where you have breakfast is very nice too and the staff are so so kind. Food was delicious too. Cons: The worst part is that they only tell you they accept cash only payment on arrival. Not ideal and really inconvenient. Had to withdraw cash from an ATM...

"little far from center of city but has restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. The ladies at the front desks went out of their way to help with our concerns. There was no hot water for shower and no air condition. Windows had to be opened invited bugs and noise."

"What a treat! This hotel is definitely worth the trip up the mountains! We stayed for one night in the superior tent and it was amazing! The view, the service, the jacuzzi, the hospitality. We even got to meet the owner at the restaurant (breakfast is free with your stay). The room had a fridge and big screen tv where we watched Netflix. I was so sad we had to leave but we’ll definitely be back!"

"A beautiful place with very friendly and accommodating staff! It also has a nice looking pool and hot tub that I couldn't check out due to the weather. The landscaping is magical and offers multiple hidden seating areas. The vi we w across the valley is simply spectacular. "Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "

"The nicest and sweetest family runs this hostel. I broke my phone during my trip and the lady that runs it went out of her way to help me order a taxi ride on a local ride app with her phone to make sure I got the airport safely to get home. She didn’t speak English but that didn’t stop her being a great person and helping me out. Showers could use more warmer water but overall not issues "
