I loved the food and staff. Bed was a bit firm for me but room was beautiful. Only downfall is do not follow the map expedia has linked to this hotel it is the wrong location! Hopefully expedia can update this for future tourists

One of the only large hotels to stay in this area. Unfortunately it’s on a very busy road and traffic is heard 24/7. We enjoyed the Dinning a the staff was very helpful and nice. Parking felt secure as they allowed us to park within the alcove which had a gate and foot security. We stayed here for convenience but did not sleep well at all.

The Staff in all areas is very friendly and do their best to provide great service. For instance, the staff in the restaurant was very accommodating on our dietary needs, since my family is allergic to gluten and dairy products. Since the day we visit it was breakfast buffet, they helped us to cook some eggs for us to avoid cross contamination. The only thing that we noticed is that the hotel is could be a little noisy, as is quite close to the main street. (which at the same time is convenient for easy access).

I recently stayed at Hotel El Guarco in Cartago for three nights with my partner and my service dog, and once again, it was an outstanding experience. This isn’t our first time staying here, and every time, the service gets better. The staff is always incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The delicious breakfast included with our stay is always a highlight—there’s a great variety, and everything is fresh and flavorful. It’s also a bonus that some of the staff speak English, which makes communication easy and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area—whether for business or leisure. We’ll definitely be back!

Very good place for a stopover while traveling. Rooms are spacious and clean, including AC and fridge. The staff is freindly and helpful and the included breakfast is freshly made and good as well. Secure parking is free of charge and possible in the inner courtyard, which is locked with a massive gate during the night and watched by a security guard during the day.

Super cute hotel , you park right in front of your door in a little courtyard in the back . The beds were good , great water pressure. Only negative I would say would be the light that gets in early in the morning front to the top of the font door from the window . Otherwise very nice staff and place for the price close to a supermarket and restaurants

Nice place to experience the cartigo community to be among the locals. Unfortunately, the motel is directly on the highway, which means non-stop road noise. Large trucks, fast cars and barking dogs rule the night. Avoid rooms at this motel near the road if you wish to have a peaceful nights sleep.
