"The hotel is showing its age. The beds were rock hard. The room and bathroom were clean but had some visible damage. No AC or television in room. Staff were civil to guests. Guest parking is awkward but secure. The overall neighborhood is rather creepy. "

"They seemed like a great family but no AC or hot water, shared bathroom and shower with 6 other rooms. Fruit fell from the tree hitting the metal roof which made it impossible to sleep much. It was not at all a good experience. It was a room with an old bed and a bench and book shelf with a fan but it stayed hot. The boat tour was nice."

"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "We couldn’t have picked a better place for our family vacation. We were in Villa 16 and it was absolutely stunning. The property was clean and comfortable, the view was impressive, the pool was amazing, the kitchen was large and we loved cooking as a group big family meals. The mini super had all the essentials, the owners are friendly and super helpful. We had a large bus that got stuck and within minutes we were getting pulled out by the friendly staff. "Upon arrival they said they had no reservation for us. Then had to negotiate a room. The room they gave us was not as advertised, had only a bed and tv, no tables chairs or any place to put luggage except on floor. There were wires hanging out of walls, no hot water in shower. Worst room i ever stayed in. Very disapointed expedia would book us in such a dump."

" Holly and Mark are wonderful hosts and their little place is a joy to visit. They helped me to enjoy the area and were available for chats and directions. You can walk to a nice secluded bay to swim in warm water. Or take a bus to other points of interest. Also next to a field of lovely cows ( I love cows!) Room was comfortable and shower hot. No complaints. I will definitely stay again."
