"Beautiful property! We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was lovely. The staff and the service was amazing! We loved the made to order omekets at the breakfast buffet.We took a nice yoga class on the beach. The only negatives were the tennis courts need to be resurfaced and the paddle boards were for children. They were too small for us to stand up on."

"We had a great stay! The hotel is a little oasis in a residential community about 10 minutes outside of Jaco. It’s surrounded by nature and we saw geckos, iguanas and colourful birds every day! We enjoyed a complementary bottle of wine on arrival, bicycles, laundry and food delivery services while we were there. I also had a lymphatic massage at the spa which was wonderful! "Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."
