"I stayed Monday to Friday as I was working in Whitehaven. Kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy, nice reclining sofasvand good wifi. House was well located, took a stroll to the castle in the evening and the co-op supermarket v. close, quite big and with a good selection."

"It is situated close to the town centre for shopping and bus station for local travel and about 15 minutes walk from the train station I would have no problem staying there again if I am in the area "

"Well we picked this lovely Village pub/ hotel to stay in because the village has no shops and as a bonus this makes it lovely and quiet. When we arrived for our weeks stay using this as a base for touring around the lake District national park etc we were greeted with a warm smile and great welcoming staff.
