Room was large and comfortable and the staff were very pleasantand helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a choice of dishes. Parking in the car park across the street was easy. Not luxury but good value.

Fab hotel in heart of Cockermouth
Great location in centre of Cockermouth with 24hr parking for £6.60 in public car park across the road. Fabulous, modern decorated hotel with friendly chap at check in. Gorgeous room with amazing shower (221 was at top of hotel and was very quiet). Had a super nights sleep and a wonderful hearty breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended.

I would recommend this hotel , it’s worthy of my five star rating The hotel is conveniently situated for buttermere and other lakes plus catbells. The hotel is clean , I booked a small single bed room and it had everything I needed for weekend stay . The staff are so friendly and helpful, it made my stay so enjoyable. We also used Blocks steakhouse, and it was excellent food .

we were visiting cockermouth for a family reunion and chose the allerdale court as it was only 2 minutes walk to my sisters. on arrival all the staff are very friendly, with the bonus that we were upgraded. Also we booked a family meal in blocks which was excellant
