"Stayed here for a couple nights. The room was a bit rough around the edges, but nothing too bad. It was a good size room, plenty of space. It's in a quiet area that isn't a long walk into the city centre. It has free parking and a kettle in the room which I always appreciate. Alexandra park is nearby and worth a visit for the views. Overall we had no issues with this hotel 🙂"

"Really friendly staff, great food and bar. Breakfast and sunday carvery were great! Room was comfortable and spacious, great bathroom, everything we needed. Dog friendly. Right in the centre of town, with lots of good pubs and restaurants close by. Lots of history, beautiful castle and scenery. Everyone very friendly, we hope to stay again!"

"The staff are brilliant only not allowed to drink in the rooms but they will hold it for you in there fridge so all good... "Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...
