"This is our second time staying at this hotel and we think it is perfect. The price is fantastic. It is clean with TV, hot showers, and a mini-fridge. It also has parking out back and tons of restaurants up and down the street."

"Full disclosure: we didn't get to stay here. This is why I would absolutely give it 5 stars regardless: We got caught in Tropical Storm Sara which left us stranded at Belize City. Every hotel in the immediate area was booked. I was able to find this at the last minute and booked it. Erroneously, their website had not shut down in time to prevent me from booking there because they too were experiencing flooding and had to shut down their resort. "Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience."

"This place is very back to nature. They have a mini farm with turkeys and ducks etc. Because it’s a little out of the way they do offer Brkfst and dinner. If you book in advance they reserve dinner. If coming in late, take advantage it was a very nice meal. There is also a time restriction for dinner, be aware. Owner is very nice and informative."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was so calm and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's definitely more at the 'rustic' end of the scale but we really enjoyed that aspect. The river is wonderful to jump in and cool off and Mario helped us with a river tubing trip that ended right at the hotel's desk. "Beautiful place but very simple with no tv or air conditioner but did come with a ceiling fan and 2 floor fans that we were able to use all 3 in one room. Came with a kitchen and coffee pot, stove & fridge but no microwave "
