Hopkins Bay Belize, a Muy'Ono Resort
5/5 Excellent
Nice upscale resort
"Only one night for us, but enjoyed the resort. We arrived 2.5 hours before check in, but they provided us complimentary drinks so we went to the restaurant/bar and met King, the bartender. Really enjoyed our drinks while we chatted with him and he provided a recommendation to go visit the local chocolate company about 15 min away, which worked out for us.
We were in the 1 BR, which is the upstairs of each building. Great space with a balcony looking out to the sea. Food was excellent in the restaurant and plenty of workers taking care of the grounds. Note - Sargassum was heavy - washed up in piles and still floating off the edge of the beach. The next morning they were working to clear the beach, but we were only there the one night. Nice touch was the robes in the room for use!
Note - No ice machines available but was able to get some for our cooler from the restaurant before we hit the road. "
