"Small hotel just outside of town which means one needs to drive into town for restaurants and other needs. The room was spacious and basic - nothing fancy but was clean and met our needs. Bed was comfortable enough and towels fine. "

"This was suitable place for a one night stay whilst travelling. Affordable. Little noisy if you were a light sleeper as it’s on the main highway. For us it was very convenient as easy to locate having arrived late at night. Easy access .Clean friendly staff in the morning on departure. Would stay again. "

"I returned to Japan last week. I was lucky to start my first trip to New Zealand by spending the first two days at Two Rivers Ohakune. The location is surrounded by beautiful nature and the sound of a beautiful river. The rooms are clean and well designed, and are designed to ensure privacy so that you won't be disturbed by anyone. "Parking is right out front. Some short hikes nearby but you probably need a car to get to longer hikes. Cute little bars/ dining areas one about a 25 min walk and the other right around the corner. Think this hostel is more popular in winter for skiing but room was great and kitchen and shared spaces were cute and homey."
