"It was a good place to stay. Great location. Well furnished, with nice beds and a high pressure shower. However there was no firewood, and the fire pit outside was not there if I’m being picky. Overall perfect for families and much better than staying at a motel!"

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"What a beautiful property! even better than the pictures. Lots of outside space for dogs, impeccably clean and host was very friendly. Little added extras were a lovely touch. We would definitely come back here again! We were extremely happy with everything."

"We had a group of 12 people doing an Alpine Skills course. It was ideal for our group with a good sized living area and it was warm & comfortable with the fire going."

"We had a lovely time in Ohakune. This property is very peaceful and has a beautiful view on Mt Ruapehu. The place was very comfortable. Just note that the stairs are very steep."

"Games room was great. Wish they had a table tennis table too though. Fireplace was beautiful too. Owners very quick to reply when we needed help with the Spa. Only issues we had were finding a few large wasps inside and having our food overrun with ants when it was left on the bench for a few hours :("

"This is a basic family Bach. Nothing flash, but it was just right for our little group to stay for a couple of nights while skiing in the daytime. Easy access and parking. Lovely and warm. Fantastic communication with the owners."

"We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Lena's house. We were so comfortable and communication with host was excellent. House could be improved by having topper pads on top of queen size beds as they are rather hard and better/more lighting in the dining and lounge areas."

"Location is great. But the floor appears to be dirty and we had no idea which towels are clean as all linens, towels and sleeping bags are randomly piled in closet without doors. "

"Houses were very clean and well presented, with good kitchen equipment - except for extra teatowels (we were there 4 days) a pot mitt, and a couple more more rubbish bags. We appreciated the firewood, so could make the house cosy, and with the double glazing, and the heat pumps we were comfortable."

"The chalet is very well appointed and in good condition. I liked the cosiness but with all the conveniences and appliances you might need. What I didn't like was the reliance on previous guests to make the place clean and ready for the next guests, with no obvious thorough check in between. In particular, the bed wasn't made up and it was very difficult to find the right sheets for the bed. Also, the instructions were unclear about how the laundry is dealt with between guests, eg is it...
