"The stay in this property was very nice. The owner is very friendly and absolutely delightful. She answered all the questions and helped with the laundry as well The suite (2 bedroom) was more than sufficient for our family of four (4 adults). The beach is a 5 minute walk away, and in 10 minutes you will get to a plethora of dining options. There is a convenience store a minute away. And the neighborhood was quiet during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed Paihia and the stay here "

"Typical 1800's Country Town Pub. Showing wear and tear, but it was a quaint experience. The dining room is the best part of the hotel. Friendly local people. We had a quiet night and slept well in our room. The water is nice and hot, plus ability to boil a jug in the kitchenette."

"This property is perfectly placed in the heart of the Russell waterfront however once you stepped into the property it was quiet and serene. You would not have known you were right next to busy restaurants aa there was no noise at all. Very close to the wharf, with many restaurants and conveniences within easy walking distance. "The property is really calm and relax. Martin is such a great host, provided us brillant information about the area and was always helpful. There are great amenities such as barbecue, swimming pool, laundry and a little spa. The kitchen and shower are acceptable whereas I’ve seen better in a hostel."
