"The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine.We were 2 adults and 2 children, one of the kids slept on a matress on the floor in the living room but it was perfect for what we needed.Doug was very responsive when we needed anything. The only slight down side is that it wasn't very private when using the outdoor area. "

"The location of the unit is ideal for visiting attractions in the Bay of Islands. Its a lovely walk into town and the wharf, the beach is literally at the end of the street. The unit is well equipped and spacious to make your stay enjoyable, things like beach towels and pantry condiments were much appreciated. All the beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were surprisingly good. The communication with the onsite person was excellent and very helpful. We would love to stay here again"

Mareen gave me accurate directions immediately when I booked, I saw I had a message through VRBO (I don't have the app), and I promptly ignored it.When it was time to drive to the place, I couldn't find directions (don't get ahead of the story folks). "Perfect spot to stay in amazing Matapouri. The house is pretty well equipped for large family or group. Large garden and deck are entertainer’s dream. Our toddler loved toys, trampoline and swings. Highly recommended!"
