"Excellent accomodations for a weekend of trail riding"

"Made this our home base for a few days of fall splendid. Ran up to Bayfield for Apple Festival - easy drive - and hiked nearby trails. Lived efficiently by cooking most meals here, and slept soundly in comfortable beds. Soooo quiet here! Great “retreat” atmosphere in the woods. Loved the deck and comfy seating in the great room. We would stay here again!"

"We stayed for a half marathon in Ashland. The door handle has some crazy deal that stumped my hub for quite a while--who started in the hotel business in maintenance. We finally got it around nine... Only to have our call returned at ten... On the night before a race. :( In the morning we struggled with the cook top too long and I had to eat PBJ before the race. "My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing stay with family. The house and property are very beautiful. We especially enjoyed the bridge going over the small waterfall! The lake is also very beautiful! Would certainly enjoy visiting again. Thank you! "

"the room was clean but in need of some updating and minor repairs such as new caulking in bath/shower area. I was in a room that had the bars in tub area for easier access and a higher toilet that I liked plenty of room in both bathroom area and sleeping area. Food served there was good but a bit pricey. It was located in a good central area to access to other places of interests"
