The Barn! A Unique Experience | 3 Bed, 1 Bath

Looking for something just a little more interesting than a cookie-cutter cabin? Welcome to The Barn! This space is loaded with charm and is located on a 30-acre property with multiple trails for exploring.
Just a few miles outside of the town center of Cable, WI is this unique rental with 2 bedrooms, one is located on the main level of the residence and the second one is up a small spiral staircase in the "crows nest". It has 1 bathroom with a shower and an old-fashioned high tub.
The whole space is peaceful and inviting. Southern exposure gives the main area plenty of natural light through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
In summer utilize the very large screen porch perfect for relaxing, watching wildlife, eating a meal, or even a game of pool or ping pong. The Barn also has Air Conditioning for your comfort!
The owners live next door if you need anything. The Barn is just minutes from downtown Cable with shops and Cafes, North End Ski Trails, and the Birkie Start.
The Barn offers a peaceful sanctuary for relaxation and enjoyment of nature. If rustic and eclectic charm is your vibe, you're going to love it!

Please Note:
Rate based on 4 people, this includes Adults and Children. There is a $25.00 charge per person per night, up to a maximum occupancy of 5 people.
Towels are not provided, please bring bath, swimming and kitchen towels.
There is a light blanket on the bed with fresh linens and pillows. If you prefer a heavier blanket, please bring one along with you.

The big barn doors by the parking area are the entrance to Mama Meadows Spiritual Healing, a small business. This is separate from the rental and doesn't share any common spaces. The business involves seeing a client at a time, sporadically during business hours, and does not involve any noise. The parking for Mama Meadows is at a separate location.

Our most unique stay
If you are looking for a modern, all the latest comforts, this is not the place for you. But if you want a unique, genuine, country barn experience, this is the best. While you can stay, cool or warm, and have all the necessities and more, this truly is a barn and the owners have gone to great lengths to keep its authenticity. We spent 3 days here and we were still seeing new things. It’s like a timeline, they have things there they have kept from the beginning of the farm. My absolute favorite was walking miles of mowed paths through their fields and smelling the acres of oregano growing. There were acres of various herbs growing in the wild. As an avid gardener for over 30 years, this place refreshed my soul. Our daughter, son in law, and our only granddaughter (7 months) were with us and both loved the place. Our son in law wants to take his family there. Just an fyi, Northland Rentals say bring towels, and say there’s minimal toilet paper and paper towels, this was not true. They had plenty and also had complete kitchen supplies like we’ve seen in numerous vacation rentals.

Trip to WI
We had a lovely time staying at The Barn. It was a unique place but had what we needed to crash after a day kayaking on the Boi Brule River. The kids enjoyed exploring the trails behind the house and playing some badminton.
