Stayed here for a bachelor party and was perfect for our needs. Tons of space, each guy had their own bed, close to Tally Ho super club, and about 15-20 minutes from Hayward attractions.
Located right on the river which was gorgeous. Would stay here again!
Wonderfully appointed cabin that is terrific for children and families. Beds are very comfortable and the space is easy to cook in. Plenty of space for multiple families to separate
Secluded, clean cabin with abundant space. After a night it felt like a home away from home. Many areas to hang out. Reliable and fast WiFi. Owners were incredibly responsive to messages, replying within minutes. 10/10 would stay again.
What a perfect spot to get away. Lots of space, clean, and fully equipped with everything you’ll need. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space with us.
We have been coming for years on a fall hunting trip. It was located close to many hunting spots. It has an incredible amount of space to hang out and put all our gear. It would be a great place for a family reunion.
Thanks!
We loved the house! We chose this property for our annual family/friends New Year weekend. Don and Barb were excellent hosts-very responsive. The property was more than we expected!
This place has it all! The cabin is in a remote location with an amazing view! Beds are comfortable and the cabin was super clean. Don and Barb were amazing hosts, they respond quickly to messages and are right up the road if there are any issues. I recommend this property.

Fun!
It was spacious and plenty of bed space! My only complaints were it was very buggy outside and we found two mice over the course of the weekend.
Loved this property! It was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We were a large group celebrating Thanksgiving. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook a large meal. The living space is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend this property! It’s the perfect Northwoods getaway for a large group.
There is ample room for a family get together to explore the great outdoors. We could all be together and still have our space when needed. There is a creek that runs next to the lodge and it’s so relaxing to just listen to the water. There was a big kitchen and plenty of space to have meals and to prepare them.
This place is huge! Plenty of space to hangout with a group of people or a big family. The outside of the building is definitely aging but the inside is beautiful! The trail for UTVing is close to the property but not on the property. Just have to jump on the road a short distance. Road is open for UTV use to get to the trail. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.
Second year going up to this beautiful property. We love this place so much! Bath and Don make it super easy. Very responsive and gave us snow updates periodically! Right on the snowmobile trail. Plenty of room to park trucks and trailers. Our friends got engaged in front of the beautiful ghost creek that runs below the house. Would love to make this a annual trip!
This log home was absolutely amazing!! We were all very impressed with how clean and organized this house was!! Plenty of room for all 8 adults with plenty of room to spare. Would love to rent again and bring my whole family up here. Just 2 little suggestions that I could make and that would be to provide wash clothes in all bathrooms and to provide trash bags for the tall kitchen trash bin. Otherwise, OUTSTANDING!!

Very dirty!
There were rodent droppings in the cupboards and on the counters. We cleaned the counters but when we got back to the cabin at night there were fresh droppings. There were cobwebs everywhere and could tell it hadn’t been cleaned for awhile.
This will be 25 yrs + for our group of guys annual hunting and fishing trip staying in the area. This is our 2nd year here and all the guys commented that this is the best place so far. It is close to all our favorite hunting and fishing spots and is the most spacious place we have ever stayed with plenty of room for all our gear and to spread out. The huge yard and endless woods to explore at the back door is amazing as well as the beautiful Ghost Creek that leads you to the Chippewa. This would also be a great spot for a large family reunion. Don and Barb are excellent hosts and always quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for our stay. We will be back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was wonderful. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice for how beautiful it really is. It was very comfortable and clean too. My only (very minor) complaint was there were no kitchen dishcloths available..not that we could find anyways ..which wasn’t a huge deal. We made due…I’m sure if I would have asked the owners about it they would have provided some or told me where some may be, but I didn’t bother, because like I said, we made due. Beds were comfy, well stocked kitchen (minus the dishcloths), firewood/firepit. Plenty of seating for everyone-both indoors and out. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our family vacation! Will definitely consider renting again!
My family along with our neighbors hauled our atvs/utv up for a week of riding. We are kick your shoes off at the door people, and there was sand all over the floors. We purchased an inexpensive broom and sweep up the 1st day. Other than that hiccup, we had a great time. The house was big enough for everyone to have space and stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. They have a trail that connected us to the main trails and plenty of room for trailers. Bring your mosquito spray and enjoy your adventure.
