"It’s a great place! Newly remodeled. I understands that it may be a bit small for some families, but it was perfect for us. Thank you for being “Pet friendly”! It’s perfect location for restaurants and bars. We had our UTV and trail access was perfect. Louies Landing for Friday fish fry is a must!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed even though the fishy weren't biting! Well equipped home and beautiful peaceful setting . Only issue was the large amount of flying and dead flies found upstairs in loft. Think area possibly sprayed before arrival but would have been nice if they could have been swept up before arrival. All in all, a perfect weekend!"

"Our group really enjoyed the open floor plan in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room. We had a large group and friend and family in the area. We never felt crowded. Our group had all adults 3 couples and grown children. An additional Bedroom would have helped. Did not enjoy a bedroom/office in the walkway to the deck. Overall a very nice place need to continue the upgrades."

"Fantastic place to stay, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Birkie Trailhead. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that included all the cookware and utensils we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, which was only a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!"

"Made this our home base for a few days of fall splendid. Ran up to Bayfield for Apple Festival - easy drive - and hiked nearby trails. Lived efficiently by cooking most meals here, and slept soundly in comfortable beds. Soooo quiet here! Great “retreat” atmosphere in the woods. Loved the deck and comfy seating in the great room. We would stay here again!"

"This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!"

"Place was unique and cozy. Owners were kind enough to have the lights on as we arrived at night and couldn't see. They left us a bottle off wine and chocolates and came to check to see if we needed anything the next day. Great people I could see us being friends with. Beautiful property will definitely stay there again."

"A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!"
