"This was my favorite place we stayed while in Costa Rica. Quaint cottage on beautiful grounds. Very quiet and peaceful, woke up to bird call. A short hiking trail on the premises. $10 to buy breakfast which we did not pay for but there was a nice breakfast area so I’m sure it would have been nice. There was a small coffee maker and fridge in the room so we made our own coffee and enjoyed it sitting outside on the porch. Highly recommend!"

"I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable."

"This place was absolutely amazing! We stayed at the Frog house for three nights, two adults and two teens. The staff was super helpful both, before and during the trip. They kindly answered a ton of questions as I was preparing for the trip, helped book activities, organized transport from airport.
