"10 min walk from Kyoto station. Nearest 7-11 is like 5 min walk away. Close to Aeon (15 min walk ) Shopping mall opposite Kyoto station. They didn't clean our place because we didn't indicate if we wanted to clean. Anyway for 2 nights stay, our room wasn't that dirty. They offered free iced tea and hot water for our maggi mee or drip hot coffee. We ended up eating bkft at the lounge on level 1 before leaving there. My children loved this place. "The private room was quite large and the service was excellent. I love that they have an assortment of board games in the common area, as well as a dart board! Minor gripes: * There are only two washing machines and two dryers. On at least two occasions I had to reschedule my laundry chores because both were occupied at the time. "Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as.
