"Absolutely loved staying here! I was here for 4 nights mostly to sleep. During the day I was out hiking around the island. Location is perfect because it's about halfway point on the island. "Very homey feel. Clean. Staff was very nice. Only thing is the check in if you come in late. Was confusing with the whole lockbox thing. It was easy to understand once we were got settled in. "I was so impressed with the spacious Pono Kai property and maintenance. Nice landscaping, elevator, heated pool and HOT tub. Employees were all so friendly and polite. Everything worked in my CLEAN room. Friendly guests and owners. Large parking lot, but buildings spaced out over acres, so very quiet. "This was the perfect property for our family of 4. It was a very short walk to the beach, had great views of the sunset, and had all of the amenities you need. Plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella, snorkeling gear, and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay, right on the bike path and so close to grocery store and restaurants. The waves of the ocean the Sunrise and the Condo was clean and well maintained too. We used to live on Kauai, so we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. This place was perfect for us as we could walk anywhere, we wanted to or drive if we wanted to. The Pool and Hot tub were nice too."
