"We stayed at the wonderful Colony Hanalei Resort and had an amazing experience! I highly recommend stocking up on supplies in Hanalei before checking in. The view was incredible, and we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves for most of the trip.The neighbors were friendly and often waved hello, which added to the welcoming vibe. The nearby restaurant, Opakapaka Grill and Bar, was a bit overpriced, but a few of the dishes were absolutely bomb especially on Taco Tuesday, which we definitely recommend checking out!The only small thing missing was a sponge for the sink.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and extra special because I got to propose to my now-fiancée at Tunnels Beach during sunset. It was pure magic. Thanks for providing such an unforgettable location!"

"What an amazing step back in time! This resort is low key but has everything you need! Shuttle service was easy to setup. Staff treated you like family. No TV and no AC were not a problem. Cool breezes through windows and ample ceiling fans. Kitchen was perfect! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Walk to tunnels beach from your place, check. Walk to Napali Coast and hike, check. Stay away from the crowd with quiet, check. Great AC, great space and rooms, WiFi, and lounge area, check. There are very few places you can find this after visiting this island many times. I highly recommend, including Donna who was very reliable and a pleasure to work with. If you want a real local experience not a resort with thousands of people, I highly encourage you to stay here. "

"We had a great time staying here. It was a great house, had everything we needed, it was nice to have the AC units to keep rooms at a comfortable level. The location on Tunnels beach is amazing, views are great, and property is really nice. It was a wonderful house to stay at!"

Fantastic home in a great location

"Beautiful home, perfect for our family. Only a short walk from Tunnels beach, with everything you could want at the home or to take the beach. We loved the outside shower and bathtub and the views from the balcony. Sad to be leaving! We will definitely stay again when we come back to Kauai."
