"Our family had a great visit in Pahoa. The house had everything we needed, including an ocean view from the lanai. It's in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. We arrived later than expected after going to Mauna Kea. Cee messaged us to let us know she turned the lights on and a direct number if we had any problems finding the house in the dark. "We had a great stay in this new house about 25 minutes from Hilo. The house is comfortable and modern and had all the amenities that kept our family of 6 comfortable during our stay. It’s a short 3 minute drive down to the water and some amazing sunrises over the ocean with waves crashing on the rocks. Be a bit cautious pulling into the driveway as there is a lip on it that can damage your car if not taken slowly. Great stay near Hilo!"

"Very friendly hosts and a neighborhood rooster! The place was extremely clean, and pretty convenient to Volcanos National Park. Eating-out options in Volcano town were extremely limited, so maybe consider going into Hilo (about 25 mins)... not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in but definitely not the worst either. Very quiet."

"Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up."
