"We liked the large spacious room, bathroom and lovely views. Parking was a struggle at times as the nearby car parks are very pricey and you can’t always get parking on the road. It’s needs a bit of a refresh in places. Slight odour in room was off putting on arrival. Breakfast boxes of cereal were ok but not really a substantial breakfast option. The nice coffee bags, tea and juice were appreciated. All in all though a bit on the pricey side for what was offered. "

"This is a gem! Room was spotless with plenty of tea, coffees etc, there was even biscuits. Plenty of hanging space. There were even a few books in case you wanted to read. Plenty of lights and plugs. The room i was in faced the beach which is quite literally across the road. There was a very comfortable chair and a little table right in front of the window, it was lovely watching the Mumbles Lighthouse at night! There was also a 2 seater sofa that doubles as another bed if needed. ...

"We stayed for one night overnight at the hotel and can honestly say it was just basic. The condition of the room was not great, as we soon discovered the lightning did not work properly and the kettle in the room was dysfunctional (reported) The bathroom was clearly in need of renovation as the flooring which was used to cover the sides of the bathtub was peeling away. The window blinds had portions missing and the curtains were hanging off. We also noted a strong draught from the window but...

"The pods were good, the bathroom was clean & shower good, both felt new. The keypad to get in the building was temperamental & took many attempts to get in each time, whereas the room one was good. The entrance & stairs looked rundown, which was the opposite of the room. Really good value & free overnight street parking round the corner. No facilities on site but, suited my purpose this time as i was out all the time."

From verifying my identity to being charged different fees to being bugged with different messages saying I have to check in between 4pm and 7pm anything after that, I will get charged £60 extra. "For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. Burnt out Right at the edge of the square, the weird remnant of a burned-out car. Each side window is obvious as blue shards. Someone seems to have taken all the large metal bits, and the front bumper - away from the camera - has been reduced to white fibre.
