The location was brilliant to go to the Parc Y Scarlets which I why I booked this place. Room was clean, but the main bar/restaurant was looking a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint to say the least. The staff were helpful and relatively friendly, but did take quite some time to be served. The outside fencing was broken in pkaces and just think with a week of proper maintenence it could be sorted. Overall the stay was pleasant, but not brilliant. I will stay again as it was so good for amenities.

Only things that let the room down was the quality of the toilet rolls, must have bought the cheapest, face and bath towels could have smelt better, rather than having a machine smell about them.

The bedroom was just fine however it lacked any draw space and 6 hangers were not enough so, many things had to stay in my case on the floor. The staff, food and general atmosphere though were top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. A cracking team represented the hotel and did Marston’s proud. Thank you.

The Curse of Room 105
This room should not be let unless the closer to the inside main door is made to work. Being immediately adjoining, occupants of this room hear a loud thump every time someone goes in or out of the building. Late at night, early in the morning - thump , thump, thump. Absolutely no way you can get a restful night - and they are aware of the problem but don’t solve it. The bed was also very hard though they did put a quilt under the bottom sheet which made it tolerable. Had cooked breakfast once, wouldn’t repeat the experience. All in all a very disappointing stay.

Room was ok. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Room was very basic and needed a coat of paint here and there. The walkway in the pub itself was extremely dangerous inside as it was raining so so slippery it was wet from the rain, they need to put a sign up advising someone could seriously hurt themselves. We are steady on our feet and we had to gingerly along it.

Great place to stay in South Wales, specially you get lot more than what you pay at Sessile park by Marstons. very clean high quality beds/super clean washroom, no smells or dust, everything works as it should, secure key card access, no noise from fellow stayers/traffic,very decent place. Ultra clean and feels 5* take my word. Restaurent serves amazing food/drink, Staff are top notch, connections to prettymuch everywhere at ease. A hidden gem !!! You wont be disappointed.

Stayed in Marstons before and like that the rooms are seoarate to the main building. Was given the accessible room so sink was very low for us. Bathroom kept flooding. Only 1 set of towels initially. No toulet brush. Kettle had been burnt. Friendly staff and easy car parking.
