"No staff and had to phone more than once to eventually be let in to hotel and given room details. Not welcolming at all and would not book again. Good view but tired dated bed, and bed covers. No way would we consider the room delux, as booked. Convenient for visit to paignton and station"

"After arrival at the house we found the location of the key safe after negotiating various bins strewn in the alleyway. However after several times of trying the PIN it became obvious that the number provided was incorrect. I messaged the host directly and left a VM but was unable to make contact. I then rang Travelnest who is the managing agent who were also unable to make contact. "Great stay, decent price and hassle free check in. Apartment was basic but had everything you need and was spotlessly clean"

"Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "

"I stayed Tusker lodge for 4 nights, the room was pleasant, clean and the bed very comfortable, as I I am a vegetarian I had the veggie breakfast this was very nice. great couple who run the lodge, its a few minute walk in to the town walk back is up hill so takes a little longer, great location, I would stay there again. "
