"The person that met me seemed very disinterested. The room they gave me didn't match the pictures on Hotels.com. It was tiny, I wouldn't have booked it if the pictures had shown the correct room. The shower didn't work. The person seemed unconcerned, just said a guest had broken it and there was a bathroom down the hall. The bathroom down the hall looked like someone's personal bathroom, with toothbrushes, lots of personal toiletries etc. The person didn't offer an alternative room, even though...

"The hotel is very handy from the railway station. The bar area was a delight to relax in, with the chap playing the baby grand. The chairs are comfy but low for eating from (for me 5'4) The restaurant is colourful and the breakfast was good. I was in a room at the back of the hotel and the decor was simple, the room was fine though (i like the old furnitire) and warm enough for me (im a cold person) but maybe a little overpriced. "Didnt stay due to my wife being rushed into hospital the day we should of arrived phoned them on the evening to tell them we wont be comonig no answer . Phoned nxt day and they said thats fine we'll speak to manager no reply for a day then phoned back they said the same we will speak to manager and while all this is going on they charge me for the room i didnt stay in and a week later still waiting for that phon call"
