"Small nice hotel in the heart in San Jose on barrio Escalante, very convenient to stay 1-2 nights to enjoy the city and/or night life . Room is average, beds, beddings, towels, soap in the bathroom, no fan or AC, it was a cool weather, so no needed. No elevator for the second floor, about 10 steps. The breakfast is great with traditional Costa Rican gallo pinto, coffee and fruits to start the day. Easy to walk everywhere or call Uber/taxi"

"Great unbelievable view. Should offer more daily towels...ect... also have drivers to provide rides down the mountain when guests want to go out. Should organize the outdoors to be more inviting to guests. "

"A good stay. The only complaint is that the common kitchen is too small. There's only room for one person at a time, maybe 2 at most. "

"The host was very responsive to all my questions, before & during the say. The location & internet service were great! I did not like that the room was not clean when I arrived and was still not clean when I checked in, or the next day despite a promise that thorough cleaning would be done. Being around 5 cats and 2 dogs can be overwhelming if you are not a pet person."

"Well, where do I start!I have had the best time! The place is so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to rest and recharge with nature. The service was really approachable and professional. The staff is proud of where they work and to deliver some of amazing food. I stayed for 5 days and tasted nearly every dishes on the menu. All dishes are created and composed with care looking at flavours, texture and originality! I loved it and was looking forward to seating down in the restaurant...

"little far from center of city but has restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. The ladies at the front desks went out of their way to help with our concerns. There was no hot water for shower and no air condition. Windows had to be opened invited bugs and noise."

"This was just an absolute pleasure to stay at this place. The amenities were great and everything was perfect. From beginning to the end the communication was great. Whatsapp keeps the communication great and makes your stay private. Text them just about anything you want and it is done. You can also order Uber eats and get grocerys or food delivered. Breakfast is fabulous as you can see in the pictures. As far as amenities you have about everything you want. You have Netflix and Alexa...

"La habitación tenía varias cucarachas grandes, pedimos que por favor las sacaran y echaran algún tipo de insecticida, luego de esperar varios minutos porque supuestamente estaban limpiando, entramos a la habitación y ahí estaban las cucarachas vivitas y en las mismas esquinas, tuvimos que matarlas y sacarlas nosotros mismos. Eran demasiadas, grandes y pequeñas. En adición, el hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento, el carro se tiene que dejar en el borde de la carretera. "
