"5 stars...the listing and photos are accurate. It provides economical lodging in a Fantastic location to explore museums and culture. Walking distance to Teminal Atlantico Norte...improtant to us as we were traveling onward to Cahuita. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment if you want to travel around the city. Plenty of soda's and small eateries close by. Great for a few nights to really get to know the history of Costa Rica and San Juan. The apartment meets all basic needs...

"Poor communicator. The night before arrival, we got a call that the parking spot was unavailable, even though it was advertised as having parking. Parking in San Jose is a nightmare. VRBO was of no help. We quickly arranged housing elsewhere. Owner refused to refund fees"

"We liked the convenience of a nearby well stocked supermarket and proximity to major street with bus service. Bring your earplugs though as the sounds of the street/cars are quite loud at night. All in all we had lots of room for us and the apartments’ kitchen was better outfitted than expected. Despite a snag in our checkin we would come back and stay here"

"I am VERY fussy and this apartment was spotless. It is on the 24th floor so the views are amazing. Security is tight and parking was convenient. Beautiful lobby with nice bar. 31st floor has the best views of the city and the mountains. Management was very responsive with our questions and requests. Only caveat is that this is in a location with few restaurants of so-so quality. Take an Uber (easy to do) to Barrio Escalante and enjoy a brewery tour and choose from many excellent restaurants."

"The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and the house is at the end of a dead-end street, so even better. The apartment is one of four in the house, and very well appointed for a few days or longer. It has everything you need to visit the city, included a washing machine. We had a rental car, which would normally park on the street, but the owner was generous and allowed us to park in the garage as no one else was using it at the time. The adjacent former botanical garden and zoo is permanently...
