"Great hostel. Far away from downtown. But downtown isnt that nice. Can uber there. They have tour pamphlet there if you like. Have a QR cide with local things to do around. Enjoy the quietness too."

"Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "

"I liked family environment. They take care of Stella while providing food and improving trails. When i need help with my phone CAMILLE(wife) drove me to 2 nearby businesses to try fix peoblem. Thet do not have wifi but let me tether an use their data. English is spoken."

"Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it."

Offering a delicious breakfeast in the morning, transportation to and from the airport and a great selection of tours that were exceptional! It was located in a quiet and comfortable nieborhood along with good places to eat nearby."

"It was ok and good but can be more better if some customer services can be improved. Especially during night time if they have their better awake staff for night shift to resolve the needs of customers. I did not found my blanket on first night and for this reason I go to customer service desk to see the receptionist, he was sleeping. I slept without blanket for my first night stay. Also for one day their kitchen sink water was not working and plates etc stuff was washed by the customers/guests...

"It was amazing hostel! I can't think of anything significant enough to complain about. The bed is SUPER soft! One of best hostel bed in my two years of traveling. There are outlet available on each bed which is useful. It's really beautiful too. One of most beautiful hostel I stayed in my two years. The service is great too. They are very nice people as well they try their best to adapt to your need. As I don't eat some specific food, they offered me a toasted bread with avocado for breakfast....

"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "One of the best places that I have stayed! Staying at the hotel is like staying w. extended family. It is small and intimate and very well run. I can honestly say that I have never had a room so well cleaned! We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was affordable & very spacious and comfortable. "Everyone was so friendly and helpful from desk to the cleaning staff. Service was impeccable. I love the restaurant. The food was excellent and the drinks were the best I’ve had. We went there two of three nights and I regret not being able to go our last night. I will definitely be back when I return to San Jose "

"This is a very safe and comfortable high end hotel right in the middle of San Jose within walking distance of most of the attractions including the Main Markets and the National Museum. It's also right across the street from the National Theater. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. The lobby is on the 5th floor and you need a key card to enter the other floors with guest rooms so it is very safe. My family and I did not eat at the restaurant though it looked very nice. We wanted to get a flavor of the surrounding options instead. "
