"The price is not worth what they offer. There was no ventilation or tv in the room. Just a very tiny desk and chair. Hot shower was not working, they had to come help and get it fix 30 mins so we could shower. If the price was lower I understand what they offer is limited, but not worth even the $60 the night."

"This was a real gem to find and provided an enjoyable place to stay on an unplanned trip to San Jose. Only 4 blocks to the US Embassy/Consulate which was the purpose of our trip. The host was absolutely wonderful and the owner provided excellent advice regarding navigating the area and issues we had to deal with (covid testing, local transportation, etc). "Man sollte sich die Zimmer zeigen lassen und die Matratzen prüfen. Die meisten sind sehr schlecht. Mussten 2 mal umziehen bis es besser war. Das Frühstück war sehr schlicht und könnte bei den Preisen echt besser sein. Personal allerdings sehr freundlich."

"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "One of the best places that I have stayed! Staying at the hotel is like staying w. extended family. It is small and intimate and very well run. I can honestly say that I have never had a room so well cleaned! We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was affordable & very spacious and comfortable. Comfortable, friendly stay

"We stayed two nights at the start of our trip. The hotel arranged a taxi for us (Uber would probably be cheaper). Traffic was heavy so took about 50 mins or so, but it should be quicker. Hotel is quiet, and nice location on a hill. The pool and gardens are nice, plus the resident cats and dog keep you company in the grounds. Breakfast was made to order from a good set of options, and really nice. Room was good size and comfortable. Only downside, there was not much within easy walking distance. We got an Uber into the city (super easy) and a bus back (not so easy). Then ordered from Just Eat for dinner and ate out in the gardens."
