"Arrived late and as a booking for 3 we had expectations that the sofa bed would be made up for us or that bedding would be available to set it up ourselves. We had to wait for some time for the only staff available who was running the bar to make up the bed. This sofa bed was not at all comfortable. Such a pity for a lovely place. The 4 stars have been awarded because the staff member was extremely apologetic. "

"Cozy, antique, and very well mantained hotel. Clean, and staff very helpfull and welcoming. No lifts, only stairs. But understandable with the age of the building. I would definetely go back. And the breakfast excellent."

"Needed to stay in the area 4 nights for work, chose this hotel because it was attached to a pub so after a day's work wouldn't have to go into Ledbury to eat. The pub was not open and I didn't see any member of staff during the stay. I had a phone number which I used to ask for more milk and coffee in the room, came back to find a couple of sachets balanced on the windowsill. No one came int the room to clean, change towels, etc. "

Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites.
