"Looks like this place is undergoing some upgrades which is good, it needs it. Loved that is was old fashioned, the room was quite clean but could use some cosmetic upgrades. Area was very quiet and so was the inn. WiFi was pretty bad, kept going in and out which made it hard to look up things around the area. I would not visit this town again as it was not what I was expecting. It looked like it was stuck in the late 80s to early 90s. Very expensive town. The Inn itself I can’t complain too much...

"It's a small vintage New England Inn - and perfect for those that would rather have a good nights sleep and a friendly atmosphere over the sterility of a large commercial chain. No staff hovering and self check-in. A buffet breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The owner upgraded me to a larger room free of charge after I had made my reservation. I will return next time I'm in the area. "

But we came to see family: the goats were just an added bonus adventure, a little test to see if the city kids would enjoy the farm. 100% wonderful experience: feeding a pen full of friendly baby goats, softer than puppies, milking a momma goat, learning their names, markings, the business, etc, just a delight. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. "This was a lovely place to stay. It felt very comfortable. It was very bright and sunny. Next to train tracks, but maybe because it's up on the third floor, it did not bother us at all. The main area is much bigger than it looks in the pictures Close to everything in Waterbury, and a short drive to Stowe, Waitsfield, and other locations around the state. I hope to stay here again sometime."

"We selected this property, as we were looking for a pet friendly location, close to Stowe Mt Resort. The accommodations were clean. We had everything we needed to make breakfast, including spices, tea & coffee. I highly recommend the Roastery, which is located close by. Since it was wintertime in VT, I accessed a private road across the street, which was plowed, in order to walk my dog. the rental was quiet, especially for being on such a busy road.
