The cooked breakfasts were excellent and it was walking distance to the centre of the old district with multiple restaurant options. Rooms are well maintained given the building dates from the 1820s. Some creaking floors and missing some of the mod cons but lots of character and history. Staff very helpful in recommending places to eat at and things to see.

In general the stay was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. The only thing was that Expedia needs to specify at the beginning that room #4, #5 and #6 share bathroom. This information should come more clear before anyone books. We had to pay a bit more in order to have another room with a private bathroom.
