No staff were on site, but they weren't really needed. It was super convenient to get the code for the room when it was time to check-in simply by following the email check-in procedures. "Frank is an excellent host & inkeeper. This historic building has the charm and warmth any visitor would appreciate. The beds are comfy, the organic and home made breakfast delicious and the common living areas offer many opportu ities to relax, play games or to watch a movie. Highly recommended!"

"First time at Bolton and I am very impressed. Nice cozy inn at the lifts. Place is well cared for and you can tell that whoever is running this place has things under control. There was a major water main break which is obviously a disaster but the inn was extremely responsible and communicative. Free bottled water, great signage and a letter under the door at 2am. "We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did...

"This property is so cool and unique! After a long day on the trails it was great to come to the barn say hi to the goats and step in to the bungalow and it was nice and warm. The owner was so cooperative with the check in process as he met me first thing in the morning so I could go enjoy the trails. Trails lead right to the door!
