"This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location! We enjoyed the fall foliage from this lovely farmhouse. The primary bedroom is on the first floor so that’s nice if you are older. The kitchen is large and has a large island. The living area and dining area have large windows looking out over the property and the mountains in the distance. Highly recommend! "

"Beautiful, peaceful property on pond, quiet and clean! Art in the home is fun and eclectic. We are so Thankful this property allows dogs without a weight restriction. This helped us include our dogs without the worry of leaving the dogs at an expensive dog boarding place. We had so much fun hiking, running and walks, with strolls around local attractions and leaf peeping; all with the dogs ! Cabot is a nice town and the property is located within 1-2 hours of major attractions such as Montpelier...

"Fall colors were on full display in Vermont and this amazing 30 acre homestead provided a perfect 5 night stay for 7 adults. Eric and Francine are gracious hosts who provided the home’s unique history. We all enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, sauna, pool table, fully equipped kitchen and large dining table and spacious back porch with a view of wild turkeys loitering near the private beach."

"We had a wonderful visit to this house during peak fall foliage. It has great views of Mad River Valley and the Mad River ski area. You can walk to hiking trail access points. The property is private and serene, but also just a quick drive to Waitsfield. Plenty of seating in living room and for dining four group of 8. Nice, large entryway to keep gear in. "The hotel itself was absolutely lovely, but the map location referenced in the Expedia listing was in town whereas the actual property was 20 minutes away. We were disappointed to find that it would not be as walkable as planned, and the on site dining options were not great.
