"This place is very back to nature. They have a mini farm with turkeys and ducks etc. Because it’s a little out of the way they do offer Brkfst and dinner. If you book in advance they reserve dinner. If coming in late, take advantage it was a very nice meal. There is also a time restriction for dinner, be aware. Owner is very nice and informative."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was so calm and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's definitely more at the 'rustic' end of the scale but we really enjoyed that aspect. The river is wonderful to jump in and cool off and Mario helped us with a river tubing trip that ended right at the hotel's desk. "This place...arrived in room and it was over 100° in the room. I asked the check in clerk if they had a fan and he stated "we don't provide them". I went to a local store to buy a fan, only to be told that it was not "allowed" in the room (apparently the owner watchesnthe camera from his home in Texas and called the on-site manager). The A/C does not keep up with the demand of the room so it was very hot all night. We checked out the following morning. "
